dLocal closes AZA Finance asset purchase
The cross-border payments brand’s IP and customers moved to dLocal in a debt-settled deal.
On February 27, 2026, dLocal completed a roughly $23.7 million purchase of selected AZA Finance assets, including a Cameroon payments entity, intellectual property, and customer relationships.
The consideration was settled by cancelling debt AZA owed dLocal rather than a cash buyout of the whole company, after an earlier full-acquisition plan was restructured.
