Mars Protocol finishes MRC-165 and shuts community channels
Mars Hub governance advanced MRC-165 to wind down the lending protocol. After a multi-week deleveraging that reduced risk parameters until liquidation LTVs hit zero, Mars announced on 31 March 2026 that remaining loan positions had been liquidated and credit-account/v1 balances returned to user wallets. Remaining Amber-escrowed funds were to be communicated via Amber channels. Official Discord and Telegram were scheduled to close with no further product support—an explicit, governance-directed termination rather than a sudden insolvency freeze.
