Vega community retires L1 chain and token
Vega’s official blog reported that the on-chain vote to retire the Vega chain passed almost unanimously, ending trading support and starting a ramp-down so validators could keep nodes online for withdrawals through at least 27 October 2024. Cointelegraph and CryptoNews covered the near-unanimous decision to end support for the chain and token while remaining resources shifted toward core protocol software and the Nebula effort. vega.xyz no longer resolves in this audit.
