The team
The Organic Growth organization is Kraken's engine for compounding, durable user growth. It integrates SEO, ASO, and Content, working cross-functionally with Product, Data, Engineering, Legal, and Brand.
Our mission: make Kraken discoverable everywhere that users — and machines — look for credible information about crypto. The AEO function is at the centre of this next phase of growth, and the AEO Content Strategist is the connective tissue that makes it happen.
We are looking for an AEO Content Strategist to own the content brief pipeline that serves product teams and regional managers — translating AI-generated intelligence into actionable, high-quality content programs at scale.
This is not a writing role. This is a program management and editorial judgment role. You will work at the intersection of automation, strategy, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring that every brief that leaves the AEO team is sharp, accurate, and regionally relevant. You'll sit inside a small, high-leverage team that operates like a startup: Claude-powered workflows handle the volume, and you handle the quality layer that automation cannot replicate.
The opportunity
- Own the end-to-end pipeline of AI-generated content briefs across all product pods and regional markets.
- Review, edit, and approve Claude-generated briefs before distribution — maintaining the quality layer that automation cannot replicate.
- translate complex AEO data, citation metrics, and AI visibility performance into clear, actionable language for product pod leads and regional marketing managers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the AEO team and product pod leads, building trusted working relationships with regional marketing managers worldwide.
- Run briefing sessions, onboard new pods to AEO workflows, and create enablement resources that help non-SEO stakeholders understand and act on AI visibility data.
- Establish and maintain quality standards for all AEO content output, flagging compliance-sensitive content for editorial review before it reaches pods.
- Monitor the accuracy of AI-generated briefs against Profound intelligence data and Ahrefs research, continuously improving prompt inputs and templates based on output feedback.
- Track brief delivery cadence across pods and regions, reporting on pipeline health to the Director and escalating strategic AEO opportunities to leadership.
- Support regional localization workflows and collaborate with AEO team members to improve workflow outputs and reduce manual review load over time.
Skills you should HODL
- At least 5 years in content strategy, SEO content, or content program management, ideally within fintech, crypto, or financial services.
- Demonstrated experience managing content programs across multiple stakeholders or teams simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience using AI writing tools with a strong editorial eye for AI output quality.
- Familiarity with AEO concepts: answer optimization, LLM citation patterns, and entity-based content strategy.
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals: keyword intent, content structure, on-page optimization, and how content drives organic visibility.
- Strong written communication skills — you can rewrite a vague brief into a clear, actionable one in minutes.
- Organized, process-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
- Open to candidates based in Canada, the US, the UK, or the EU.
Nice to haves
- Background in fintech, crypto, or financial services content.
- International SEO or localization experience, with multilingual capability a strong bonus (especially Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, or Japanese).
- Experience with tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Profound, or similar AEO/SEO platforms.
- Comfort working with structured data, content audits, and performance reporting.
