Securitize Fund Services is expanding its Fund Accounting organization and is seeking an Associate, Fund Accountant to support hedge fund and alternative investment clients. This role sits within our hedge fund department and is responsible for maintaining accurate records for open-end alternative investment vehicles.
This position offers hands-on exposure to cryptocurrencies, digital assets, and traditional hedge fund structures, making it ideal for candidates looking to build deep fund-administration expertise in a rapidly evolving asset class.
What You’ll Do
Portfolio Accounting:
- Creation and ongoing maintenance of portfolio investment master records.
- Processing of trades from centralized and decentralized exchanges.
- Reconciliation of cash, positions, and profit & loss (P&L) across multiple exchanges, wallets, and custodians.
- Valuation of investments across diverse asset classes.
Fund/Investor Accounting:
- Recording of fund operating expenses.
- Reconciliation of operational bank accounts.
- Calculation of investor-level fees, including management and performance fees.
- Expertise in investor performance metrics, such as high-water marks, hurdle rates, and the crystallization of incentive fees.
- Preparation of financial statements and portfolio schedules.

- Experience working in excel.
Nice to Have (Optional)
- 1–3 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or portfolio accounting.
- Exposure to hedge funds, crypto funds, or alternative investment vehicles.
- Familiarity with portfolio accounting systems, fund accounting software, or reconciliation tools.
- Experience supporting audits or NAV processes.
