As an Associate, you will support the daily "engine room" of our platform—handling trade lifecycles, performing essential reconciliations, and ensuring our data remains pristine. You will work under the guidance of senior operations leaders to master transfer agent processes and contribute to the efficiency of our digital asset ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade Support: Assist in managing the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including placement, confirmation, and settlement processes.
- Daily Reconciliation: Perform daily trade and cash reconciliations across both traditional (off-chain) and blockchain (on-chain) environments.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and investigate breaks or discrepancies, working with senior team members to provide timely resolutions.
- Data Maintenance: Maintain meticulous records and ensure all documentation meets internal and regulatory standards.
- Liquidity Assistance: Support daily funding tasks, including the verification of sources of funds and processing ACH/wire movements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Investor Support and Sales teams to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the creation and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as our platform evolves.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in financial services, back-office operations, banking, or a related administrative role.
- Financial Literacy: A foundational understanding of cash operations (Wires, ACH) and a strong interest in learning blockchain/tokenized asset settlement.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Google Workspace (especially Sheets) and Microsoft Excel. You should be comfortable managing and organizing data.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping; you’re the type of person who catches the typo others miss.
- Adaptability: A "start-up" mindset—comfortable learning new tools and pivoting quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating across remote teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.
