Who You Are
We are looking for a private credit professional to support origination and execution across Galaxy's growing lending platform. This is a broad mandate spanning structured and asset-based lending, acquisition and event-driven financing, and bespoke payments-infrastructure facilities — you will play a key role in structuring and executing transactions across a genuinely varied product set as the credit function builds out.
What You’ll Do
Origination & Structuring
- Support origination and structuring across a broad product set: digital asset-collateralized warehouse facilities, receivables finance, acquisition and event-driven financing (LBOs, take-privates, bridge facilities), and payments/settlement-gap products spanning cross-border payments, card-network settlement, and stablecoin infrastructure
- Help develop the collateral, perfection, and structural frameworks that protect the firm across this range of deal types, jurisdictions, and payment rails
- Contribute to credit enhancement, risk-sharing, and closing mechanics (make-whole, MAC triggers, guaranty and intercreditor provisions) appropriate to each transaction
- Work with sponsors, platforms, and counterparties to help design bespoke financing structures as the platform expands into new products and counterparty types
Negotiation & Documentation
- Support negotiation of transaction documents in partnership with outside counsel and senior deal leads
- Help manage negotiation priorities across multiple concurrent transactions spanning different products and structures
Credit & Risk Management
- Support the credit approval process, including preparing recommendations and structural analysis for the risk committee
- Conduct diligence on counterparties, collateral, and portfolio performance
- Help manage and prioritize a broad, concurrent transaction pipeline
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with legal, risk, markets, and treasury teams to support the firm's lending strategy
- Contribute to internal and external communications on behalf of the credit function
AI Implementation
- Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in private credit, structured credit, or acquisition/leveraged finance, with direct exposure to transaction execution from origination through close
- Working knowledge of secured lending structures and collateral protection frameworks; exposure to acquisition finance or event-driven credit (bridge loans, take-private financing) a plus
- Experience supporting negotiations with outside counsel on complex transaction documents
- Strong judgment and communication skills, with comfort preparing materials for senior stakeholders and risk committees
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine interest in digital assets; direct experience in crypto-collateralized lending or payments/settlement finance a plus
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
- Hybrid/Flexible Working Arrangements
- Flexible Time Off (paid)
- 3% 401(k) company contribution
- Company-paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents
- Generous paid Parental Leave
- Competitive family planning benefits for US employees
- Opportunities to learn about the Crypto industry
- Smart, entrepreneurial, and fun colleagues
- Free daily snacks and weekly breakfasts/lunches
- Employee Resource Groups
