Build a Safer World.
TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. TRM's platforms enable investigators to trace illicit activity, build cases, and construct operating pictures of threat networks. Leading agencies and businesses worldwide rely on TRM to make the world safer and more secure.
As a Commercial Paralegal (AI & Legal Operations), you will report to the Assistant General Counsel – Commercial and join a high-trust, high-velocity Legal team that supports TRM's global Go-To-Market (GTM) and vendor functions. You'll be equal parts legal operations problem-solver and AI-native workflow builder, owning the workstreams that keep deals moving — MNDAs, order forms, intake triage, and signature routing — and turning them into repeatable, AI-assisted processes instead of one-off fire drills. Success looks like a legal team that focuses its time on truly complex matters because the rest of the work runs through well-designed agentic systems, with measurable improvements in cycle time, throughput, and consistency.
The impact you'll have here:
- Own end-to-end MNDA workflows — intake, triage, first-pass review using templates and AI tools, coordination of approvals, and execution.
- Handle high-volume contracts under attorney supervision, including NDAs, standard order forms, amendments, and vendor contract reviews.
- Prepare and manage signature-ready packets, signature routing, and tracking for commercial and vendor agreements.
- Independently own the vendor intake and contract negotiation process on Zip, with attorney supervision. Manage vendor form intakes, revise and redline contracts according to vendor playbooks and with attorney supervision, own first line of communications with TRM business stakeholders, oversee closing and signature of vendor contracts.
- Maintain and integrate with available AI tools an organized, searchable record of executed agreements in our contract repository (Ironclad / CLM and shared drives).
- Map “long-tail” workflows (MNDAs, DPAs, signature routing, intake queues, simple renewals, approvals) and identify bottlenecks; partner with Legal, Sales/GTM, Procurement, and RevOps to standardize and document them.
- Serve as a power user for Legal's AI tools in the commercial space (NDA bots, contract summary tools, CLM AI, research and summarization tools).
- Design and iterate AI-assisted workflows for first-pass MNDA review, summary bullets for sales and internal stakeholders, and suggested positions on standard clauses based on playbook parameters.
- Maintain prompt libraries, workflow guides, and “AI wins” logs so the team can see what's working and copy successful patterns; partner with attorneys to define guardrails for when AI is appropriate versus when a matter must go straight to human review.
- Triage and route incoming legal requests (via Salesforce, CLM, or a legal intake queue) based on established rules and playbooks.
- Partner on special projects — audits, playbook refreshes, policy updates, AI training sets — as the team scales.
- Help improve and document “how Legal works” so new hires and stakeholders can self-serve where appropriate.
What we're looking for:
- 3-5+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal operations professional in an in-house legal department or law firm supporting commercial work.
- Solid experience with commercial documentation, including NDAs, basic commercial and vendor agreements, order forms, and amendments.
- Demonstrated comfort with legal tech and AI tools (e.g., CLM systems such as Ironclad, Salesforce or other intake systems, e-signature tools, and generative AI for drafting and summarization).
- A strong systems and operations mindset — you think in workflows, handoffs, SLAs, and “how do we make this 30% faster without dropping quality.”
- Excellent organization and project management skills; you can manage a high volume of matters, track details, and keep stakeholders updated without being chased.
- Clear, concise written communication and professional judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS, fintech, or crypto / Web3 environment is a plus.
- Prior exposure to public sector, RFP, or government contracts processes is a plus.
- Comfort working across time zones and remote-first teams with async tools like Slack, Notion, and Loom is a plus.

Our work sits at the intersection of AI, national security, and fighting crime. The problems are complex, the stakes are real, and the environment evolves quickly. The pace and intensity of the work reflect the importance of the mission.
