About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Finance and Accounting Intern to support the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-growing crypto firm. The intern will gain practical exposure to accounting, digital-asset operations, financial reporting and regulatory controls.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with accounts payable, payment processing, invoice verification and expense tracking.
- Perform bank, digital wallet and liquidity-provider reconciliations.
- Support the recording and reconciliation of cryptocurrency transactions, client funds and trading balances.
- Assist with month-end closing, journal entries and preparation of management reports.
- Maintain accounting schedules, supporting documents and audit records.
- Support financial and regulatory reporting, including data extraction and validation.
- Investigate reconciliation differences and follow up with Finance, Operations and Technology teams.
- Assist with process improvements, automation and other ad hoc finance projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working with large volumes of data.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work across different teams.
- Interest in cryptocurrency, digital assets or fintech is preferred, but prior industry experience is not required.
This internship provides hands-on experience in both traditional accounting and the financial operations of a regulated digital-asset business.
