About Polymarket
Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.
We're growing fast, both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.
About the Role
Polymarket's Marketing team owns growth, acquisition, and retention — we move fast and make decisions based on data. As our Growth Data Analyst, you'll own the data layer for everything marketing touches: building dashboards, writing queries, and shipping tools that help the team operate effectively. You'll pick up tasks with minimal context and deliver with limited oversight. If you want a direct line to business outcomes, keep reading.
What You'll Do
- Write SQL queries to pull, monitor, and QA core growth and acquisition metrics across the marketing funnel.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Hex that give the marketing team a clear, current view of performance.
- Add new data components to React-based dashboards
- Design and ship reporting tools and data views tailored to the Affiliate and Premier teams' day-to-day workflows
- Use Python to clean, transform, and analyze datasets that inform growth strategy and channel performance.
- Translate data findings into clear takeaways that help the marketing team make faster, better decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Strong, proven SQL skills. You can write complex queries, optimize them, and debug someone else's without much guidance.
- Hands-on Python experience used in a real professional or project setting for data cleaning, transformation, or analysis.
- Experience building dashboards or reporting tools that other people actually used and relied on.
- Ability to work independently. You can take an ambiguous request, define what done looks like, and ship it.
- Comfort working in or around a codebase. You don't need to be a full-stack engineer, but adding components to a React app shouldn't stop you cold.
- (Plus) Degree or graduate study in data science or analytics
- (Plus) Experience with Hex or a similar notebook-based BI tool.
- (Plus) Background in marketing tech, growth analytics, or working with acquisition and retention data.
- (Plus) Familiarity with marketing data concepts like attribution, funnel analysis, or LTV modeling.
