About the Starknet Foundation
The Starknet Foundation is the steward of Starknet, a permissionless validity rollup designed to scale the world’s most important blockchains without compromise. Having pioneered ZK-STARK technology to scale Ethereum, we are now entering a new era as the first network to settle simultaneously on both Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Joining the Starknet Foundation now places you at the epicenter of this pivotal phase and offers a rare, ground-floor opportunity to shape how Starknet's core growth verticals evolve: from BTCFi and privacy to quantum resistance and real-world assets. This is a unique chance to build the infrastructure that turns the world's most secure assets and most sensitive use cases into productive, scalable capital for a billion users, and it requires exceptional talent. We're looking for people who think in systems, operate well in ambiguity, and are motivated by long-term impact over short-term wins. If you want your work to outlast a market cycle and define how decentralized systems actually scale, this is the place to do it.
About the Role
We're hiring a senior deal-maker for our Growth team. You'll own strategy and execution across Starknet's priority verticals (such as Privacy, Bitcoin, Quantum, and RWA) and work at the intersection of commercial negotiation and structuring. That means building the financial models and incentive structures (revenue share, token incentives, vesting, earn-outs) that make a partnership work for both sides, not just sourcing the relationship. We're looking for someone who has done this kind of structured deal work professionally, eg: at a top-tier bank, consultancy, or law firm, and has since developed real crypto/DeFi fluency and relationships, rather than someone whose entire background is Web3 BD. If you've negotiated complex commercial terms from term sheet to close and want to apply that skill set to the highest-leverage infrastructure decisions in crypto, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Bring
- Senior generalist with a proven ability to operate cross-functionally across strategy, BD, partnerships, and product development.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex financial models, structure incentive/economic terms (e.g., token incentive design, revenue share, earn-outs, vesting/cliff structures), and negotiate multi-party commercial agreements from term sheet to close.
- Crypto and DeFi native with minimum 5+ years of experience.
- Ideal background in banking, management consulting or legal training, with experience at a Tier one company within the industry.
- Strong commercial and research skills, including the ability to build clear business cases and financial models.
- A deep crypto network and a track record of building senior relationships with DeFi protocols, LPs and financial institutions that generated revenue/growth.
What You Need To Succeed
- Self-starter with high energy, motivation, and ambition.
- Comfortable defining success for a specific vertical, identifying gaps and reallocating efforts toward the highest-value opportunities.
- Proven ability to influence senior executives and work effectively with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Strong deal experience and negotiation skills
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of strategy and execution across the Growth team's priority verticals (Privacy, Bitcoin, Quantum, RWA), with the flexibility to shift focus as new opportunities and priorities emerge.
- Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships end-to-end to extend and strengthen Starknet’s infrastructure stack.
- Develop commercial proposals that drive growth across the Starknet ecosystem.
- Work with product, ecosystem and marketing teams to identify and build new solutions that drive partner ecosystem success.
- Partner with legal, finance, and operations teams to support existing and upcoming partnerships.
- Represent Starknet at conferences and industry events to enhance visibility and connection to top-tier projects.
Location
We are a globally dispersed, remote-first organization. However, for this role we are partial to candidates based and with networks in: APAC (Singapore/HK) and NYC.
