About this role in the team:
Due to our expanding business, there is an increased demand for an Ongoing Monitoring Analyst to join the Team. The role requires a high level of initiative, as well as expertise in a FinTech environment and cooperation with corporate and individual clients. This role requires high attention to clients needs, self education and self organization. This role will form part of our global team, and will work closely with Operations, Trading Team, Sales, and Management.

At BVNK, the Ongoing Monitoring Team is part of the Customer Portfolio Risk (CPR) team, serving as a critical line of defense in managing the long-term health and compliance of our global client base.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Manage the ongoing due diligence and periodic review cycles for Corporate clients, ensuring long-term adherence to best practices in compliance and risk management.
- Conduct and manage the full lifecycle of scheduled Annual Periodic Reviews (APRs), Embedded Partner Customer Reviews (EPC APRs), and Event-Driven Reviews (EDRs) to ensure the portfolio remains within risk appetite.
- Perform deep-dive data analysis by reviewing 12-month transaction histories via Snowflake, validating that client activity aligns with their declared business profile and expected volumes.
- Conduct screening and due diligence checks (e.g. Sanctions, PEPs, Adverse Media), and resolve any potential matches or flags
- Manage account changes, nested flow requests, and, where necessary, coordinate account terminations in accordance with CPR policies.
- Accurately identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and Directors of Corporate clients, and gather all relevant details in line with internal policies
- Collect, review, and verify all required documentation for Periodic Reviews in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards, as well as external industry best practices
- Monitor and resolve ongoing screening alerts (e.g., Sanctions, PEPs, Adverse Media) generated by the automated monitoring of the existing client base.
- Make informed, case-by-case decisions regarding the need for further investigations or Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) based on newly identified risk factors or transaction anomalies.
- Re-evaluate and update risk assessments for existing customers, following BVNK’s approval and escalation protocols as their business activity or profile evolves.
- Identify and suggest improvements to ongoing monitoring workflows and surveillance tools to enhance efficiency, detection capabilities, and the customer experience.
What we need from you
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B (corporate) customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence within the payments, fintech, or forex industry
- Previous experience in a fintech or payments environment, with a good understanding of KYC/AML practices
- Demonstrated experience reviewing clients with complex ownership structures and from high-risk industries
- Proven ability to review and manage various legal entity types, including private limited companies, partnerships, trusts, and foundations
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify UBOs and assess corporate documentation
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools for customer management and workflow tracking
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining high standards for accuracy, productivity, and compliance
- Comfortable managing multiple cases simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills
