About The Opportunity

OKX is deepening its presence across Asia-Pacific, and we're looking for a Product Manager who comes from the crypto exchange industry and knows how this market works from the inside — the competitive dynamics, the user acquisition playbooks, and the product levers that drive trading volume and retention in APAC.

Unlike greenfield markets, APAC is a mature and fiercely competitive crypto landscape. Users already have accounts on multiple exchanges. The challenge isn't education — it's winning share from established players and making OKX the platform users come back to. We need someone who has fought this battle before and can bring that playbook to our APAC growth strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

Local Market Opportunity & Strategy

  • Identify and prioritize business and product opportunities across APAC markets, including market-specific trading behaviors, competitive positioning, regulatory requirements, and untapped user segments.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the APAC crypto exchange landscape — including competitor product strategies, fee structures, token listing dynamics, and regional user preferences.
  • Develop go-to-market product strategies tailored to APAC user segments across markets with varying maturity levels.
  • Partner with regional BD, marketing, and operations teams to align product initiatives with local growth objectives.

Affiliate & Growth Channel Ownership

  • Own and optimize affiliate, referral, and KOL-driven growth channels — design program structures, commission models, and product features that drive partner-led user acquisition.
  • Build product capabilities that support affiliate growth at scale — tracking, attribution, tiered rewards, and partner dashboards.
  • Work closely with marketing and BD to identify, onboard, and retain high-performing affiliates, KOLs, and community leaders across APAC markets.
  • Analyze channel-level performance data to optimize CAC, partner ROI, and user quality across affiliate and referral programs.

User Trading Journey Ownership

  • Own and optimize the full user trading journey across APP and WEB — from discovery and onboarding (Markets, Chart analysis) through execution (Order placement, Chart trading, Position management) to post-trade review (Asset analysis, Trading journal).
  • Define and execute the product roadmap for trading experience improvements in the region, balancing global platform capabilities with local user needs.
  • Analyze user behavior, funnel data, and trading patterns specific to APAC markets to identify pain points and high-impact opportunities for conversion, retention, and trading volume growth.
  • Develop strategies to serve diverse user profiles — from advanced derivatives traders to spot-only retail users — adapting the product to their distinct preferences and requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Design, Engineering, Data, and Marketing to translate user insights into shipped product features and iterative improvements.
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure efficient feature implementation, maintaining a balance between innovation and operational feasibility.
  • Measure the impact of product initiatives through well-defined metrics, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and deliver measurable outcomes.

What We Look For In You

  • Proven product management experience at a crypto exchange — you have worked at a CEX (centralized exchange) and deeply understand exchange product mechanics: spot and derivatives trading, order types, fee structures, liquidity, token listings, and the competitive levers that differentiate exchanges in APAC.
  • Strong understanding of affiliate and referral growth models in crypto — you've either built, managed, or directly contributed to affiliate/KOL programs and understand how partner-driven acquisition works at scale.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in consumer-facing products within crypto, trading, or fintech.
  • Deep familiarity with the APAC crypto market landscape — key competitors, regional user behaviors, regulatory nuances, and what drives users to switch between exchanges.
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with data to prioritize, validate hypotheses, and measure outcomes across trading volume, user growth, and retention metrics.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership — able to align design, engineering, data, and commercial teams around a shared vision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice-To-Haves

  • Direct experience building or scaling affiliate/referral programs at a crypto exchange — including program design, commission structures, and partner management tooling.
  • Experience across multiple APAC markets — understanding how product and growth strategies need to adapt across the markets.
  • Hands-on trading experience in crypto derivatives (futures, perpetual swaps, options).
  • Familiarity with on-chain analytics, token economics, and DeFi/CeFi dynamics that influence exchange user behavior.
