About the role
We're looking to hire a talented and committed Product Analyst to join Nansen's BI team, reporting directly to our Head of Business Intelligence. This is a unique opportunity to shape product analytics at a crypto analytics leader organized around small elite teams.
Your responsibilities
- Build upon and scale our in-house product analytics solution, enabling self-serve analytics for teams across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing and Sales
- Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) as core productivity multipliers in your daily workflow - we expect 10x productivity gains through AI-first approaches
- Interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for engineers
- Manage and evolve our in-house customer data platform, ensuring accurate tracking implementation and maintaining data taxonomy
- Analyse user behaviour and product metrics for our analytics, trading and staking products, translating insights into actionable product improvements
- Enhance quantitative analyses with qualitative insights derived from user studies and feedback
- Build and maintain data models and transformations using dbt
Your experience
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with focus on product, growth, or marketing analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience analysing trading products and understanding crypto trading user behavior
- First-hand experience building tools or improving processes with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor etc.
- Familiarity with the OKR Framework - supporting goal setting and measurement
- Deep understanding of crypto markets, DeFi protocols, and on-chain data (highly preferred)
- Nice to have: Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling
