The role in a nutshell:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and driven Regulatory Compliance Assistant to join our Compliance Department. This is a crucial operational role designed for an individual who thrives on precision, enjoys maintaining rigorous standards, and possesses a good understanding of the Indonesian regulatory landscape. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational backbone of our compliance function, ensuring that our reporting is flawless and our data is bulletproof.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between internal data and external regulators. You will handle the entire regulatory reporting lifecycle—from data reconciliation with SRO institutions to the timely submission of reports to key authorities. Beyond just managing numbers, you will collaborate closely with our Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to build tighter controls and improve our internal monitoring tools. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for compliance, and love working in a fast-paced environment where your work directly protects and empowers the business, this job is for you.
Your mission will be:
Regulatory Reporting & Submission
- Prepare, reconcile, and submit daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and ad-hoc regulatory reports to relevant Indonesian authorities with complete accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Stay ahead of reporting schedules and proactively manage the end-to-end submission process to ensure zero compliance gaps.
Data Reconciliation & Investigation
- Perform daily transaction data reconciliation between internal company systems and Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) institution systems.
- Investigate any data discrepancies or anomalies immediately, working alongside relevant teams to resolve issues and ensure data integrity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Control Building
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to strengthen internal compliance controls and enhance continuous monitoring processes.
- Provide compliance insights and user feedback to help specify and develop better tech-enabled internal compliance tools and automated solutions.
Audit & Examination Support
- Support the compliance team during regulatory examinations, independent audits, and internal compliance reviews.
- Organize, maintain, and safeguard all required compliance documentation, audit trails, and records for seamless retrieval.
Process Optimization
- Actively identify opportunities to streamline administrative workflows, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual reporting risks within the Compliance Department.
A little about you:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional working experience, with a preference for roles directly involved in compliance, regulatory operations, or financial reporting.
- Languages: Fully proficient in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex regulatory matters clearly to both local and international stakeholders.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy. Comfortable working with large datasets and performing meticulous reconciliation tasks.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a true team player who is friendly, transparent, articulate, and driven to succeed.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle changing regulatory requirements with agility and a positive attitude.
