DEPARTMENT: INSTITUTIONAL SALES
The Institutional Sales team is part of Business Development, responsible for:
- Building strong client relationships
- Managing the customer lifecycle at pivotal stages
- Supporting both new Web3 clients and retail customers
The goal is consistent delivery for our customers, no matter what challenges arise.
THE ROLE: Senior Associate, Due Diligence & Special Projects
As Senior Associate, Due Diligence & Special Projects, you will:
- Serve as the central point of contact for institutional due diligence and RFP processes
- Deliver high-quality, accurate, and commercially competitive responses
- Contribute to cross-functional special projects spanning product, client services, and strategy
Location: Must be in-person twice a week at our New York City, NY office.
Responsibilities
Due Diligence & RFP Management
- Own and manage DDQs, RFQs, RFPs, and other institutional requests
- Coordinate input across multiple functions into cohesive, client-facing materials
- Translate complex technical, legal, and operational inputs into clear and persuasive responses
- Maintain and improve a due diligence knowledge base for efficiency and accuracy
- Familiarity with crypto regulatory standards, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NYDFS, SEC custody rules, AML/KYC
- Design scalable, searchable DDQ/RFI knowledge bases using tools like Loopio, RFP360, or equivalents
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build strong relationships across teams to ensure timely, accurate, and aligned responses
- Partner with Institutional, Trading, Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, and Security teams
- Identify gaps, risks, or areas for improvement in responses and processes
Special Projects
- Support ad hoc and long-term projects focused on:
- Product enablement
- Client services improvements
- Institutional strategy and process optimization
- Create scalable processes, documentation, and tools for the Institutional team
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years in due diligence, institutional sales support, RFP/DDQ management, client solutions, strategy, or related roles
- Strong understanding of institutional clients and regulated environments (financial services, crypto, fintech preferred)
- Exceptional written communication skills for synthesizing complex information
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- Self-starter with solutions-oriented attitude and high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting institutional sales or client-facing teams
- Familiarity with compliance, legal, or security concepts in regulated financial products
- Experience improving or scaling DDQ/RFP processes or systems
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base Salary Range: $112,000 - $155,000 (NY, CA, WA)
