- Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Physical Security, Field Operational Compliance, and Technical Support of our hardware devices
- Partnering with industrial design, optics, software, market operations, and finance teams
- Defining product requirements and executing development to reach billions of users globally

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Role: Mechanical Engineer – Hardware Devices
You will support products across research, design, prototype manufacturing, and handover to contract manufacturers, ensuring the delivery of innovative, reliable, and manufacturable mechanical components and systems.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design components and systems based on product requirements
- Perform full lifecycle product development: design, test, manufacture, and implement
- Collaborate with Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
- Produce outline designs and evaluate theoretical concepts
- Build prototypes, conduct experiments, analyze data, and interpret results
- Modify designs to meet requirements, eliminate malfunctions, and resolve emerging problems
- Evaluate final product’s performance, reliability, and safety
- Collaborate with Supply Chain/Production to improve manufacturability
- Select materials and estimate manufacturing costs
- Prepare product and component documentation
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Hands-on experience with 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (SolidWorks, PTC Creo)
- Strong analytical and creative skills
- Solid understanding of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, and materials science
- Experience designing injection-molded components
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Strong drive to complete projects successfully
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in tech hardware or electronic devices
- Previous experience at a fast-moving startup
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Estimated Salary (SF-based): $200,000 – $250,000 + competitive long-term incentives and potential variable compensation
