We are seeking a skilled Python developer to join our dynamic Financial Engineering team where you'll build innovative reporting solutions that drive key financial decisions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and finance, tackling complex challenges in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
You should have a strong background in software development, expert level knowledge of SQL, and a good understanding of crypto trading.
You should have the ability to work independently, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a desire to own issues and see them through to resolution.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the Finance Engineering team to maintain and enhance existing solutions
- Work with internal Finance and Accounting clients to develop new solutions
- Provide first-line support to internal clients. This involves dealing with queries from clients and identifying and resolving issues
- Contribute to new Finance Engineering initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent programming skills in Python and strong working knowledge of Pandas and PySpark libraries
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience with integration of multiple platforms
- Experience with ETL processes
- Experience providing first-line support for business clients
- Full SDLC process experience
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
Bonus Points:
- Technical experience with Databricks or any similar Delta Lake platforms
- Experience working with large datasets
- Experience with AWS cloud deployments and API
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Go, C#, or Java.
- Familiarity with financial statements (e.g. balance sheets, income statements / PnL).
- Familiarity with Crypto trading (spot, DeFi, and derivatives)
