We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment. This role will manage financial reporting, the month-end close process, internal controls, and compliance while leading and developing a high-performing accounting team.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting expertise and thrives in a dynamic, evolving regulatory landscape. Fintech or crypto experience is preferred but not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:Financial Reporting & Close

  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

Technical Accounting

  • Research and interpret accounting standards and apply them to complex transactions.
  • Develop accounting policies and ensure consistent application across the organization.
  • Partner with external auditors on technical accounting matters and audit deliverables.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiencies.
  • Partner with Finance Systems and cross-functional teams to enhance ERP and reporting tools.
  • Implement scalable accounting procedures to support business growth.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
  • Establish clear performance goals and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Operations teams.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and new product launches.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
  • Experience managing the month-end close and financial reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.

Preferred

  • CPA (or equivalent professional certification).
  • Experience in fintech, crypto, or financial services industries preferred.
  • Experience with multinational entities and multi-currency accounting.
  • Internal controls and audit management experience.
