Who You Are
We're looking for a DevEx Pipeline Specialist who is, at heart, a builder: someone with the instincts of a systems architect who wants to design and build the platforms, pipelines, and tools that give our engineering organization real leverage. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role — not a support function. We are not looking for someone who fields ad hoc, IT-style requests; we're looking for someone who builds the systems that make those requests unnecessary. A core part of this role is building the data ecosystems that give us visibility into how engineering is actually performing, and that hold teams accountable to it. Above all, this person should treat developer experience like a product: building for internal customers with genuine empathy for their needs, and a drive to make their day-to-day materially better.
What You’ll Do
- Architect, build, and own the developer tooling, platforms, and CI/CD pipelines that give engineering teams leverage — this is a systems-building role, not a support-ticket or break/fix function.
- Design and build the data ecosystems (metrics, dashboards, reporting) that create visibility into engineering health and throughput, and hold teams accountable to it.
- Treat developer experience as a product: define a roadmap, ship improvements, and measure adoption and impact, rather than reactively fielding one-off requests.
- Be a highly customer-oriented partner to engineering teams — deeply understand their workflows and pain points, and build with genuine empathy for their actual needs.
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure deployments at scale.
- Build documentation, training, and standards that let teams self-serve, rather than depend on individual, ticket-style support.
- Collaborate closely with development, security, product, and leadership to align platform and pipeline investments with business priorities.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in developer productivity and platform engineering, proactively bringing in new approaches.
- Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years building developer tools, platforms, or pipeline systems — with a track record of designing and shipping systems, not just administering them.
- Expert proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, Go, TypeScript, or similar).
- Experience building data pipelines, dashboards, or observability systems that drive visibility and accountability.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Deep expertise in CI/CD systems including Jenkins, GitHub, Flux CD, and Harness.
- Experience with artifact management and repository tools, notably JFrog Artifactory.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Copilot for enhancing developer productivity.
- A product mindset: comfort gathering feedback, prioritizing a roadmap, and building for internal customers with real empathy.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Points
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Proven track record in agile software development practices and DevOps methodologies.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus
- Hybrid/Flexible Working Arrangements
- Flexible Time Off (paid)
- 3% 401(k) company contribution
- Company-paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents
- Generous paid Parental Leave
- Competitive family planning benefits for US employees
- Opportunities to learn about the Crypto industry
- Smart, entrepreneurial, and fun colleagues
- Free daily snacks and weekly breakfasts/lunches
- Employee Resource Groups
- Free coaching and counseling sessions through Headspace
