We're looking for a hands-on APAC field marketer ready to hit the ground running at one of the most significant moments in digital assets history. Crypto compliance is moving from niche to mainstream. Regulatory frameworks across APAC are maturing fast. Institutions are entering the space at pace. Elliptic is right at the centre of that shift — and this role puts you on the ground as it happens, building the regional presence, community relationships, and campaign execution capability that will define how we grow across the region.

The impact you will have

This is a foundation hire. You will establish Elliptic's field marketing presence in APAC at the moment it matters most - building community relationships, delivering campaigns that move prospects through the buyer journey, and ensuring Elliptic is visible and credible in the markets and conversations that count.

You will sit within the Brand, Campaigns and Creative team, translating global programmes into regional executions that genuinely resonate - from financial institutions and PSPs to crypto-native firms and government bodies. The Director of Marketing for APAC joins in 2027. What you build now creates the foundation they inherit. Done well, this role directly shapes Elliptic's pipeline and brand presence across some of the world's most important crypto markets.

What you will do

  • Deliver APAC field marketing execution - taking global campaign plans and translating them into regional activations that resonate with local audiences, channels, and market dynamics. You are the person who makes it happen in-region.
  • Build and nurture Elliptic's presence in APAC's key industry communities - identifying and engaging the crypto, fintech, and financial crime compliance networks, associations, and groups that matter to our audiences, and ensuring Elliptic has a consistent and credible voice in them.
  • Partner with the Senior Events Manager and regional sales teams to plan and deliver the local events programme - trade shows, conferences, Elliptic-hosted experiences, webinars, and customer briefings across the region.
  • Own region-specific social content - developing and publishing content that reflects the conversations, channels, and tone that work in APAC markets, contributing to Elliptic's broader social calendar with a sharp regional lens.
  • Execute regional HubSpot campaigns, nurture workflows, and landing pages - ensuring APAC audiences are well-served at every stage of the buyer journey.
  • Build campaign toolkits for regional sales and customer success teams - giving them the context, assets, and messaging they need to activate marketing activity effectively in market.
  • Work with the Campaigns and Memberships Manager to identify and maximise the impact of regional partnerships and industry associations, ensuring Elliptic's APAC memberships deliver measurable return.
  • Feed regional intelligence into global marketing planning - sharing APAC audience insights and market dynamics so that global plans are well-adapted for the region from the outset.
  • Track and report on regional performance, using data to share clear insights and continuously improve campaign, event, and community impact.
  • Embrace AI tools to streamline workflows, increase execution quality, and continuously explore approaches that keep Elliptic's APAC activity sharp and efficient.

What you will achieve in the first 6 months

  • Own and deliver the regional social content calendar from day one, with a clear and consistent regional voice established within the first month.
  • Deliver at least two regional campaign adaptations end-to-end - from brief and audience targeting through to execution, measurement, and a clear summary of what worked and what you'd change.
  • Build an initial map of APAC's key crypto, fintech, and financial crime compliance communities - identifying which ones Elliptic should be active in, and beginning to establish a presence in the highest priority ones.
  • Partner with the Senior Events Manager to deliver key APAC events in H1, with defined regional workstreams owned and a post-event report completed for each.
  • Build trusted relationships with regional sales leads, ensuring they are consistently equipped with the campaign toolkits and context they need to activate marketing activity in market.
  • Establish a regular reporting cadence for APAC activity, with clear data connecting campaigns, events, and community engagement to pipeline contribution.

You will be a great fit here if you

  • Know APAC as more than a region on a map. You understand the nuances between markets and can apply that knowledge to make Elliptic's activity genuinely relevant, not just broadly regional.
  • Are energised by being in the room. You thrive at conferences, roundtables, and community events - building relationships, representing the brand with confidence, and turning a presence into a pipeline opportunity.
  • Are comfortable operating with a degree of independence. You can take a brief, make good decisions without constant direction, and flag clearly when you need input.
  • Have a genuine appetite for the crypto and digital assets space. You follow what's happening in the markets you'll be working in and can hold your own in a conversation with a compliance lead at a bank or a founder at a crypto-native firm.
  • Hold yourself to a high standard. Elliptic is rigorous about who joins the team - not as a gatekeeping exercise, but because the work matters and the bar reflects that. The right person will feel that as a motivator, not a warning.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Experience in a B2B field marketing or regional marketing ideally within fintech, crypto, or a regulated sector.
  • A track record of translating global campaigns into regional executions that perform - adapting for local audiences rather than simply localising copy.
  • The ability to write engaging and effective marketing copy across a range of channels - clear, direct, and built for the channel it's on.
  • Experience supporting or managing events in the APAC region, including third-party trade shows, conferences, webinars, and hosted experiences.
  • Experience building or engaging community networks in the APAC market - whether through associations, meetups, ecosystem partnerships, or industry groups.
  • Strong working knowledge of HubSpot or an equivalent marketing automation platform, with hands-on experience building campaigns, workflows, and landing pages.
  • Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn and other B2B social channels relevant to APAC markets, including both organic and paid.
  • A data-driven approach to campaign execution - comfortable tracking performance and using insights to improve.
  • AI fluency: a demonstrable ability to apply AI tools effectively in a marketing context - whether for content production, campaign optimisation, research, or workflow automation. We expect candidates to show, not just tell, how they use AI as part of how they work.

Bonus Points for

  • Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese or Korean
  • Prior experience at a crypto exchange, blockchain analytics firm, regtech, or financial crime compliance business.
  • An established network of contacts across APAC fintech, crypto, or financial services communities.
