Tempo is a layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoins and real-world payments, born from Stripe’s experience in global payments and Paradigm’s expertise in crypto tech.
Tempo’s payment-first design provides a scalable, low-cost predictable backbone that meets the needs of high-volume payment use cases. Our goal is to move money reliably, cheaply, and at scale. Our north star is simplicity for users: fintechs, traditional banks, merchants, platforms, and anyone else looking to move their payments into the 21st century.
We're building Tempo with design partners who are global leaders in AI, e-commerce, and financial services: Anthropic, Coupang, Deutsche Bank, DoorDash, Mercury, Nubank, OpenAI, Revolut, Shopify, Standard Chartered, Visa, and more.
We’re a team of crypto-optimists, building the infrastructure needed to bring real, substantial economic flows onchain. Our team primarily works in-person out of our San Francisco and NYC offices. We like to move fast and swing for the fences — join us!
The Role
Tempo is expanding its enterprise footprint across Latin America, and we're looking for a partnerships leader to own that effort. You'll build and scale our regional partner ecosystem; sourcing and closing strategic deals, enabling partners from onboarding through expansion, and serving as the primary commercial and technical bridge between Tempo and the enterprises we work with.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in the ambiguity of early-stage market development and knows how to turn relationships into revenue.
Responsibilities
- Own Tempo's enterprise GTM strategy for Latin America, including market prioritization, partner sourcing, and deal execution
- Lead commercial negotiations and structure partnerships that drive mutual growth
- Build deep relationships with technical and executive stakeholders at partner organizations, ensuring smooth onboarding and long-term success
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate partner needs into roadmap priorities
- Design and iterate on scalable enablement programs, documentation, and support playbooks
- Identify integration and co-development opportunities that expand the Tempo ecosystem
- Represent Tempo at regional industry events and within developer and enterprise communities
Qualifications
- 7+ years in an enterprise partnerships role including partner sourcing, negotiation, and management with demonstrated ability to lead both technical and commercial initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead both technical and commercial initiatives independently
- Prior experience working with engineering and product teams at blockchain, infrastructure, or fintech startups
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese; existing relationships in the LatAm market strongly preferred
- Self directed with exceptional relationship building and communication skills. You own your success within both ours and the partners’ organization.
- Experience with B2B or developer-adjacent products (e.g., APIs, dashboards, or partner platforms)
Nice to Haves
- Background in payments, stablecoins, or crypto infrastructure
- Familiarity with blockchain concepts such as wallets, data tooling, and settlement rails
- Experience building or scaling a partnerships function from the ground up
